"Lu ho boh?" (How are you?), "Lu chiak par ah bui?" (Have you eaten?) are his two favorite lines whenever I see him. Then again, he ask that to just about anyone he meets...even on his deathbed, still concerned about everyone else around him and not thinking about himself.
Ah Kong, you're the most friendliest person to everyone around you and even after slightly more than month since your passing, I'm still trying to adjust myself with the loss of you in my life. No words can express how much I miss you and never a day goes by without thinking about you.
I couldn't help but recall those last few days spent with you... and holding you while talking to you as I watch you take your last breath. That is undoubtedly the hardest and most saddest moment in my life!! Death is inevitable to all of us and there's no running away from it but whatever it is, we the family will always remember you in life and memories of you will forever live on in each and everyone of us.
Thank you for all those sweet and wonderful memories. Thank you for making me the man I am today. I WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU!!!
In Loving Memories
-----------------------
Time passes so swiftly,
In just a blink of an eye,
My heart feels ever so heavy,
Which makes me wanna break down and cry...
All I have left are memories,
Of you which I will always remember,
Memories which will become stories,
Which in time will help me grow and become stronger...
My one and only dearest Ah Kong,
How I really do miss you everyday,
When you left us I knew I had to be strong,
And remember those happy times which will never ever fade away...
I know you're looking down from up above,
Watching and waiting till the time is right,
Because I know that your everlasting love,
Has always been there and never left our side...
